Data Deletion — EarthVision

Under the GDPR (European Union) and the CCPA (California), you can delete all the data EarthVision holds about you.
Data concerned
- your anonymous ID (created automatically, with no name or email);
- your favorites;
- the ratings you gave in the app.
Your location is never sent to our servers, and notifications are 100% local. Your preferences, your rounded position (ISS and aurora alerts) and the widget are stored only on your phone: they disappear when you uninstall the app.
Option 1: in the app (instant)
Profile → Delete my data → Delete. Your anonymous ID, favorites and ratings are erased from our servers and from your phone. A new blank session is created.
Option 2: by email
If you have uninstalled the app, write to simondouz81150@gmail.com:

EarthVision data deletion request - Message: your phone model and when you used the app, so we can find your ID.
Timeline: acknowledgment within 72 business hours, deletion within 30 days at most, confirmation by email.
What is kept
- Camera reports remain, but with no link to you.
- EarthVision+: deleting your data does not cancel the subscription. To stop it, cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Purchase history is kept by the store and by RevenueCat according to their rules and legal obligations.
- Hosting technical logs expire automatically within a few days.
