Terms of Use — EarthVision

By downloading, installing or using the EarthVision app (“the App”), you accept these Terms of Use (“Terms”).
1. Publisher
The App is published by EarthVision, reachable at simondouz81150@gmail.com.
2. Purpose
EarthVision lists public live webcams from around the world (cities, beaches, mountains, animals, roads, space) and shows them on an interactive globe.
3. Access
- The App is free and available without creating an account. An anonymous ID is created automatically to sync your favorites.
- Some features are reserved for the EarthVision+ subscription (section 7).
- The App needs an Internet connection to show the cameras.
4. Camera content
- Cameras belong to third parties (YouTube channels, transport agencies, tourist boards, individuals…). The publisher does not film, record or rebroadcast any image: the App shows the stream provided by each owner, with its source.
- Images are broadcast live and without prior moderation. The publisher is not responsible for what they show.
- Camera availability is not guaranteed: a stream may be interrupted, moved or removed by its owner at any time. Cameras are checked automatically every day.
- Camera owners and people on camera: to request a camera’s removal, email simondouz81150@gmail.com or use “Report a problem” in the player. We remove it within 7 days.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- record, capture or redistribute the streams beyond what their owners allow;
- use the images to identify, track or harm people on camera;
- misuse the App (automated data extraction, bypassing protections, resale).
6. Intellectual property
The App (code, design, text, logo, Globi mascot) belongs to its publisher. Camera images remain the property of their operators. Map data © Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors. Sources and their licenses are listed in the App (Profile → Camera sources).
7. EarthVision+ (subscription)
- Content: no ads, sunset alerts on your favorites, travel mode, ISS pass alerts, aurora alerts and a home screen widget. The content may change; no feature will be removed without prior notice in the App.
- Price and payment: the price is shown in the App and in the store before you buy, in your currency. Payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store.
- Free trial: when a trial is offered, the subscription starts when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Renewal and cancellation: the subscription renews automatically for the same period. You can cancel it at any time in your store account settings (or from EarthVision+ → Manage my subscription); it stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Restoring: a subscription you already paid for can be recovered on a new device with Restore purchases.
- Refunds: according to the store’s rules and applicable law (14-day withdrawal right in the EU for digital content, lost once use begins with your express consent).
- Alerts: alerts (sunset, ISS, auroras) are for information only. They rely on calculations and public forecasts (NOAA, Celestrak), may arrive early or late, or be spoiled by the weather; they are not guaranteed.
8. Personal data
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
The App is provided “as is”. The publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of the information shown (location, sunset time, weather, forecasts…) and cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from its use, within the limits allowed by law.
10. Changes
These Terms may change. The version in force is the one published on this page; major changes will be announced in the App.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
